Does the hit (slammed) player lose the point in this tennis case?
Ball is in play. Player X is standing outside the court, preparing his return. Opponent Z has just served or returned and the ball is definitely going out of the court, but X is unable to avoid getting touched or hit (while standing outside) in his body or clothes.
Who loses the point?
PD1: Never matter if it hurt him or not.
PD2: Please attach official source for your answer, if you can or have it. I made a bet! But cant tell you my point of view.
Yeah this has actually happened to me in the Alaska State Tennis Championships. I got hit. I definitely did not get the point haha.
